Ollang MCP + Contentful

The Contentful Remote MCP app must be installed in the environment. Space admins control which tools it exposes. Contentful operates the hosted server separately from Ollang.

Use Contentful’s official remote MCP server with Ollang MCP to localize structured content. The GA remote endpoint is https://mcp.contentful.com/mcp; EU spaces use https://mcp.eu.contentful.com/mcp and OAuth 2.1.

Setup

Install the Contentful Remote MCP app in the environment and authorize access over OAuth 2.1.

Localize Contentful entries

Find published English entries for the product site, upload their
translatable fields to Ollang, and create French and German document
translation orders.

Translate help-center content

Find the English help-center entries updated this month, create Ollang
orders for Japanese and Spanish, and prepare the delivered content for
the corresponding Contentful locales.

Audit missing locales

Review the content environment for entries missing their required locales.
Create an Ollang custom instruction for our CMS terminology and summarize
the translation orders needed.

A local Contentful server is also available with npx @contentful/mcp-server and a CMA personal access token for clients that cannot use the hosted server.
